Suzanna Bujang
Coach
I have been involved in synchronized swimming for the past 14 years as a swimmer and a coach. As a member of the Malaysian National Synchronized Swimming team, I had the opportunity to represent my country in various competitions and World Championships. It was an honour that has brought many memories that I will always keep with me.
I started training with the Pacific Sport Aquasonics in 2002, when my duet partner and I moved to Canada in preparation for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England. Under the instruction of Susan Kemper, the head coach of the Aquasonics, I gained not just technical skills but also essential life skills that have shaped the person I am today. After “retiring” from being an athlete, I decided to continue my involvement with synchro by coaching with the Pacific Sport Aquasonics. Through coaching, I aim to teach not just technical skills but to also provide my swimmers with the building blocks to be successful in this sport and in life.
