Tanya Matson wins BOTH of the
2010 Bob Bearpark Foundation Coaching Awards
Currently Tanya Matson is enrolled in Douglas College’s Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching Program where she’s naturally excelling, qualifying for both the Honour Roll and Deans' Lists for several semesters. The Bob Bearpark Foundation was established to further coaching education in British Columbia. The Foundation is named in memory of Bob Bearpark who was a coach and provincial government administrator in BC and built the coaching development system in the province of BC. The Foundation makes two annual monetary awards to students enrolled in the Douglas College Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching or the Douglas College Sport Science Diploma programs and we are so very proud of Tanya as she has won both of those awards through her commitment to coaching excellence.
